This programme receives the support of the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union: a grant of € 3,934,000 was awarded to the LIVE consortium.
The Master LIVE (Erasmus+ Mundus Joint Master Degrees) offers an interesting multi- and inter-disciplinary academic programme in a very dynamic research area. The consortium involves a number of non-educational associated partners which are engaged with the programme delivery and management in a variety of activities. The Associate Partners from the whole vaccinology chain include SMEs, pharmaceutical organisations and large companies that cover all the different areas where graduate students can be employed. The industrial actors offer funding which strengthens the sustainability of the programme beyond EU funding. The proposal addresses current need of the society in preparing specialists in fundamental and applied aspects of vaccinology capable of continuing their career in academia or industry or healthcare sector.
